Sooo boring
I mostly just liked the last 20 min
shareI mostly just like the entire movie.
Does IMDB hate apostrophes?
When you call a movie "boring", don't expect anyone to take you seriously.
A movie can have a lot of problems that are objectively detected, convenient or unoriginal writing, bad acting, problematic direction, unfitting cinematography, poor editing, etc. Devil's Backbone didn't have any of this.
So, the problem is your problem. Maybe you don't particularly like drama+horror genre mix. Maybe you are used to ADHD action movies. Maybe you are suffering from ADHD. Whatever's the problem, it's not the movie's.
Why are you attacking me. I just thought it was very boring. Voicing my opinion on a message board. Calling someone adhd isn't much of an opinion
shareI most certainly haven't attacked you or accused you of anything, I merely tried to speculate the problem. Movies can't be "boring". They may have slower pace than you can handle, but this still is not the movie's problem and 95% of the times, this slow pace favors and highlights other aspects of a movie, mostly its artistic roots.
The point is that Devil's Backbone didn't even have a slow pace, which is the reason I don't see how you would call it "boring".

dude.... the person said it was boring. lay off. they were just stating an opinion and you go all roeper on their azzzz.
i thought the movie was pretty good.
Although unlike OP i enjoyed the movie, I still feel the need to voice my support for him and mention that your comments are utter rubbish.
