Is this like the Mary Martin version?

I mean does it have the same songs as the Mary Martin version did and that sort of thing? A lot of the dialogue looks the same except for the opening narration.

It's pretty much the same yes. Only the song "Oh, My Mysterious Lady" is never in it.

That "One, two, three" waltz the kids do with their mother at the beginning in the Mary Martin original is also cut out of this version. Furthermore, I prefer the "Tender Shepherd" lullaby in the original, too.
