Who has seen Cathy Rigby in person perform Peter Pan?
I have. I saw her in Chicago. And Hook/Mr. Darling was played by Howard McGillin the longest running Phantom of the Opera. It had the original Wendy, Tiger Lily/Liza, Jane, and Cecco as from the DVD with Cathy Rigby. It was her final time as Peter Pan.
Who else has seen Cathy Rigby in person do it?

I saw her in her final tour too. It was awesome especially knowing it was her final tour she's an incredible person.
shareI know they have made so many peter pan movies in the past couple of years, but I would really like to see a real movie version of this play in the musical form. I think it would be awesome if Cathy Rigby directed the movie herself? I think for this time, they should pick a boy who looked just like her for the part. I know Jermey Sumpter who played peter pan in the 2003 movie non musical version, he did great as well. I think a musical verison of the movie is the one thing we are all missing? I would really pick Jim Carrey for Mr.Darling/Captain Hook. If they stay with the same material as the broadway show, I don't see why not turn this magical musical into a film version. But some how make it really stand out from the other peter pan movies. I know they will try to do in the future. I am really hoping they will do it... Anyone else want to see this version of the play brought to life on the big screen???
shareI saw it in Grand Rapids, MI the summer of 2005 with my grandma. I was eighteen and more excited than the three and four year olds. We got to meet Cathy afterwards and she signed my shirt and program. It was amazing and I had goosebumps the entire time. It also had Eliza and Howard McGillin.

Saw her in the DVD, and then saw her in her "farewell" tour. I wasn't very surprised when she did the show again in Missouri not long ago, or when I heard that they were gearing up to do another tour of the show featuring Cathy for the 2010/2011 season, because Peter Pan has really been her bread and butter for a while now, but I'm not bothered by false advertising -- I'm just happy I got to see her live at all.
