Is this how it is in the Ghetto? You think you'll go to heaven?

Yes I been to the ghetto, no I have never stayed longer than a day, and never spent the night there.

So tell me, is it typical to shoot a man (snoop doog) on the street standing infront of a bunch of houses with nothing to hide your identity, run away, and never get caught by the police?

Is it also typical for thugs to murder a man (snoop dogg) and expect to be forgiven by god and go to heaven?

And hell nah that wasn't in self-defense, not that time.

I hate this movie, but I've seen it a few times, and there is the "no snitch" policy. A lot of people get away with crimes, because other people are afraid to say something.

Well I dont know if you know but, a lot of crimes are unsolved or undeclared I'd probably say most. Also, at the end of the movie Omar Gooding is baptized which cleansed him of his sins and Jesus is the forgiving type, let the bible tell it, so I think hes in the clear.

Now do you think the police detectives would work as hard on a murdered ex-con and gangbanger? They got innocent people to serve and protect the way they see it one criminal killing another is the easiest math you can come up with.

Also, Sometimes I read the bottom of posts and dont realize they're a Signature... Do you?

if your saved and ask Jesus to forgive you for myurder then your going to heaven
Jesus died on the cross for all your sins past present and future, not some or the less bad ones. remeber that all sin is the same in his eyes. as long as you beliebe that Jesus died ont he cross for your sins and you confessed that belief to someone else your saved.

"Is it also typical for thugs to murder a man (snoop dogg) and expect to be forgiven by god and go to heaven?"

I'm pretty sure that's the Christian belief. The rules don't change just because they're "thugs".

reply

They never showed a true turn towards faith.
If you had to label it, I'd call the baptism more a sin of taking the Lord's name in vain.

If you plan out that you will sin, then get baptised, then go to heaven, you kinda missed the point.
With no repentance, there is no forgiveness.

In a parallel example, in the judicial system, that's why they treat pre-meditated murder harsher than a crime of passion.

Thanks for the info, but I was responding to this comment:
"Is it also typical for thugs to murder a man (snoop dogg) and expect to be forgiven by god and go to heaven?"

And the thread name: Is this how it is in the Ghetto? You think you'll go to heaven?

It seems as if the OP has something against people from "the Ghetto", pointing out that just because they're from "the Ghetto" and do bad things they are different than those who aren't from "the Ghetto" and do bad things. From what I understand if one were to get baptized they are washed from all of the sins they have committed.

So, to answer the OP's question once more:
Yes, you have to actually want forgiveness and change your ways, but even so, if you are a "thug" from "the Ghetto", murder a man, realize the evil you have committed and want to change and then get baptized you will, indeed, be able to get into heaven.

Jeffery Dahmer was even baptized.

Hmm, I wonder about a similar thing in high-class neighborhoods: is it true that when teenage white boys who dress up in long black coats, arm themselves with machine guns and proceed to shoot up middle-class predominately white schools? Do you think that they think their actions will be justified and that they will be forgiven and go to Heaven?

I just love when idiotic but curious white folks come on these boards with their silly questions about blacks.
