Were the sex scenes in Baby Boy between Jody and Yvette, and Jody and Peanut real? Meaning were they really having sex because those scenes were too real to be just acting.

In the deleted scenes on the DVD, there was a sex scene with Jody and Peanut and it looks like they were really having sex. I can see why it didn't make the final cut because it was very raw and there was no nudity.

Do actors really have sex in some of these movies but the directors and studios just to play it off like they are just acting?

there was a sex scene in Basic Instinct that was real
it's possible, they just don't tell no one and do it on a closed set with just the actors camera man and director.

There was no sex scene in Basic instinct that was real, it was all staged with the main actor's to make it look real

No. The guys wear something over themselves, like a sock or whatever (no, not a condom). It's about angles, retakes, and maybe some movie magic in some instances to make it look as real as possible. We all know, there's nothing more annoying that fake authenticity in scenes of the like.

I don't know, that sex scene with Jodi & Yvette in the hotel room looked real. Most of the time, it is the angles that make it look real. Sometimes, they say the scene in question is real, I remember that sex scene in Angel Heart with Lisa Bonet & Mickey Rourke looked very real. I was like: "" LOL!
The sex scenes in The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo with Rooney Mara looked pretty real, I remember some discussing if it was real like this thread.

The sex scenes in Jason Lyrics with Jada Pinkett and Allen Payne look very real. I didn't really buy the one sex scene with Lisa Nicole Carson and Trech. The sex scene in Crank 1 & 2 looked real but I think it could have been fake it had to be.
Those sex scenes in Black Snake Moan really did look real.

It always bugged me if other celebs are looking at each other naked during those scenes or maybe these just computer images and editing to make the actor/actress look naked.

The only sexual act in a mainstream film that was real was the blow job in The Brown Bunny, and those two were in a relationship. Whether a sex scene looks real or not, it's not. Every single interview where an actor/actress is asked about a steamy sex scene, they always say the same thing...it might look sexy, but it is the exact opposite to film. It's incredibly technical, and more often than not it's incredibly awkward.

There are very, very few mainstream actors/actresses that would be willing to participate in a real sexscene in a film

That's just not true. Why would you even say that. Just because you only know of one doesn't make it a fact. There are plenty of mainstream films with real sex. Do a Google search. I just watched Antichrist the other day. That shows actual penetration! Stop making up "facts".

It's all about a closed set, camera angles, editing, pasties and barriers. For example. The Jason's Lyric sex scene. When you pause an observe the edits. You can tell when the body double comes in. It's cleverly done.

You know what? i used to think same like few years ago but then i get to know the secret. Its called sex choreography. just like dance they teach how to move, body language and make love without actually having sex. I have seen this all in 1 hour youtube video about about how it is done and the exercises the actors has to follow. Sometimes they use body double and sometimes have to give 50 shots too. that mean being naked and humping entire day in front of the crew and in the halogen lighting. I will suggest not to watch it because its better if you keep the secret.

It just like when you kid you think magicians are for real and then you watched Magicians secretes finally revealed. it spoiled everything isn't it?

Geez all that to go into a sex scene that wont last more than 30 seconds fug that Sounds like alot of work for a small part of the film that's not all that important to begin with .What was the name of the youtube video you saw ?
