The whole concert is marred by poor sound reproduction, not just Brian's voice. This is really a terrible reproduction of the band, compared to 'Live at Donnington'. It's too bad.
I just picked this up in a CD shop this afternoon and I'm watching it on my PC and listening on headphones. To me it's seems a lot better than the comments I've read about it declare it to be. Here's a tip: if you're listening on headphones make sure you're listening to the regular Dolby stereo track, not the Dolby 5.0 Surround, it sounds much warmer and not hollow sounding. As I'm listening as I type and am not watching the video, the audio track sounds quite good and clear. I don't understand the comments about too much bass, if anything I'd like more bass guitar in the mix, Phil Rudd's kick drum sounds good and clear and warm sounding. So far Brian Johnson's vocals sound right on the money for his tunes, but the Bon Scott songs are always going to sound different. He does Girls Got Rhythm justice. As far as the video it looks pretty sharp for Super 16mm film, the only time it looks bad is on the crowd shots, so who cares? I'm just thankfull it's not like the Stiff Upper Lip DVD where you get 20 different camera angles per minute -it really ruins that concert video. Overall I'm quite pleased with this DVD and I'm glad I found a copy.
