Just bought a Complete Series Set

I just purchased the Timeless Video set of "The Veil". The set is in a tin box and for some reason bears the title "Tales of the Unexplained" Then subtitled at the bottom "from behind THE VEIL".

There are two episodes which weren't listed as part of the original 10.

One (the first episode on disc 1)was apparently written for "The Veil" but shown as an episode of "Telephone Time" and it's titled "The Vestris"

The second Titled "Peggy" (The last episode on disc two) was apparently unearthed relatively recently. It does bear the the series title "The Veil" and is hosted by Boris Karloff but has a different opening.

So you get 12 episodes altogether in this set. They look very well mastered (both video and audio). The stories themselves are pretty good and somewhat reminiscent of "One Step Beyond". There are even presented as actually having happened. Mr. Karloff acts in every episode except "Jack the Ripper" And is host to every one except "The Vestris". That one is hosted by Dr Frank Baxter.

If you ever seen those old movies that were shown in school auditoriums in the 50's-70's, "Our Mr Sun", "Hemo the Magnificent" or "Unchained Goddess" you'll recognize Dr. Baxter.

Anyway, this was a very good purchase and a welcome addition to my anthology collection.
