Movie wasn't bad. The ending was actually a surprise. But maybe I just liked watching Alexandra Holden (Sam) prance around in a cheerleaders outfit! ;)

I liked it when she was stripping for Brett and having nothing, but pink panties and a pink bra that matched. It would have been perfect if she would have gone topless in the film. I loved the movie the first time I watched it a few years ago when I found it in a video store up North when I lived in Wisconsin.

Yeah, that is a cool flick. I actually watched it 2 times. It is much better than some stuff in the cinema nowadays & Sara Downing (Desiree) is so hot. Why did they have to kill her? Damn.

I watched this movie late last night and I myself liked it.. I was so into who the killer was..and when I found out i was shocked. I dunno what it was but I was very into this movie..

This movie was God awful. I can't believe you people even give it a "so-so" rating. I've seen better entertainment come out of my anus. But ofcourse, just about everyone gets sucked into watching these terrible movies at 2am on cable. Oh yeah two things I noticed. Both the star of "Angus" (Jimbo)and "Salute Your Shorts' Donkey Lips (Tony) appeared in this wretched film. And when it was revealed that Austin Pendleton was the killer, I nearly started tearing, it was so hilarious. Brilliant screenwriting. I'm sure a better script could have been written by 12 chainsmoking monkeys. But hey, what do can you expect from late night garbage?

There are lots of ways a movie can go bad, and as far as I am concerned this doesn't qualify as a bad movie. The production values were average or better. The script was OK--again, average or better. The acting was average, and in some cases better. The direction was average (no bad angles or over-direction). Overall a solid movie. My biggest complaint with the movie is that I ageed with the teacher: the brightest kid in school could have come up with much better wishes!

Some movies are just bad. It usually starts with bad writing, add poor direction and bad acting, and unfortunately if any element is out-of-whack the whole movie can be ruined. "Dirty Love" was poorly written and badly acted and deserves it's 2 rating. Other movies are just such bad ideas they can't be improved by anything, including multi-million dollar budgets, special effects and top name actors/directors; "Matrix Revolutions" is an excellent an example, and it also deserves a 2 rating.

"Wishcraft" isn't a great movie, but it isn't a terrible movie either. I give it a 6 (IMDb currently rates it a 5--perfectly average).

I enjoyed the film the way it was written, directed, and the actors did a great job as well. I would add this into my film collection to watch when I wanted to.

It was a awesome film to watch and I loved it! So, what if you did not like Austin Pendleton as the killer of the film. I bet you did not expect that it was him doing all of the killings? I thought it was awesome to see and would love to add this to my film collection.

This movie was great. No hype, not a lot of star power - just a really enjoyable flick. I give it a 10 for watchability. It seems like some folks are having a hard time admitting or understanding why they liked this movie and are kind of holing back a bit. Is it because there was no publicity, that no one told us to like it? Say it loud, say it proud - I LIKED IT.

I love movies like this and that is why I am fighting to get USA UP ALL NIGHT back on late on Friday and Saturday nights so that we can watch films like this late on the weekends. No network does that now. I can remember 20 years ago USA Network had USA UP ALL NIGHT, TNT had Monster Vision, and Comedy Central had T&A Movies to watch late at night on the weekends. What took its place were the stupid crime and drama shows that the major networks are cramming down our throats instead of having a weekend of movies to watch and if they do show movies it is the same crap over and over again!

I liked this movie as well, but my only big complaint about the movie was that they did not use any of the hot looking actresses in the film to do a nude scene. I would have added at least in a couple of places in the film. I mean come on why not add a shower scene after cheerleading practice, what about when Jimbo and his girlfriend are out in the park or where ever he took her to that they were not getting it on and the actress was topless at least? What about when Alexandra Holden who played Sam was doing her strip tease act have her go topless in that scene? If I was directing the film that is what I would have had in it to give it more reasons why the stars would have been higher for this movie.

Yes it was unsuspecting that it was the history teacher who was the killer through out the whole movie. The first time I watched it I did not expect that it was him. The writer of the film did a fantastic job with the writing of the film script and the directors interpretation of it was awesome!

Yes it was a great flick to watch all right! I have seen it several times already. My only complaint is that it did not show any nudity with Sara Downing in the film and Alexandra Holding along with the other hot looking women in the film in my honest opinion. I would have had a shower scene or when Jimbo was out with his girlfriend at the park I think it was. I would have had her at least go topless in the movie to show some skin at least. What is wrong with todays horror films? I mean I do not see that many films hardly anymore that want to have the hot looking ladies get topless. That to me is not cool at all, but I loved the film though.

I loved watching this film WarpedRecord! I thought the film was well done, but my only dislike about the movie was that there were no hot looking ladies going topless in it when they had quite a few ladies that could have bared a little bit for the film.

I agree with the OP, who posted this over 6 years ago and has probably forgotten about the movie. I think it's a lot better than it needed to be, for the genre. I was really interested by how the girl acted, when she couldn't really understand WHY she liked Brett, but she just DID all of a sudden.

Realy a neat little movie.

Yes it was a great movie and I loved the scene where Sam was stripping for Brett. It would have been nice thought if Alexandra Holden who was playing Sam in the film would have gone topless thought for the scene with Brett. That would have even been better in my opinion!

I accidentally found it and I have just finished it. It was ok. I liked the teacher idea. And I liked that it had some magic. I do not believe in magic but hey in a film it is acceptable. I did not miss any nudity. I am glad that they did not go overboard. I liked when Brett touched Samantha`s belly with his hand`s up side. It was sensational.

That is cool that you accidently found it and finished watching the film. I liked it and thought it was a very good horror film. Yes the idea was good to use because you did not expect it in the film. I loved the concept of the film using a idol like they did granting you three wishes. I would have rather have seen some ladies get topless though. This is just my opinion about it though.

I watched it a few years ago on video and caught it tonight on HBO. I loved the movie and felt it had potential to it, but the one ingredient that was missing was the topless nude scenes from a few of the ladies in the film. I think that would have helped the film out even more in my opinion.
