John Chacon (The original, and best, Gabe Logan)

This guy has the better voice for the character Gabe Logan. The new guy that does the voice for the past three SF titles isn't bad but he ISN'T John Chacon (aka Gabe Logan). No one will ever be Gabe Logan like John Chacon was regardless of who they hire for the voice acting role. Good luck, John, in what ever it is your up to at this moment in time (a new job outside of the entertainment industry or what ever).

I totally agree dude, unfortunatly it seems John Chacon's acting/voice acting took a conclusion after Syphon Filter 3. So that's probably why they needed a new voice because I would presume he doesn't want to go back into voice acting anymore.

But yeah, he is Gabe Logan.

It's a shame if he doesn't want to go into voice acting anymore. As he suited it, especially in the Gabe Logan role. But I respect whatever decision John makes in this department. John Chacon and Gabe Logan go together like Christopher Lee and Dracula. Both John and Christopher were made for the roles they will be remembered for most by a lot of people.

I actually saw a few comments by John Chacon on some video that was a tribute to his Gabe Logan, pleading him to return. He said he'd be more than happy to play Gabe in SF PS3, but that he has heard nothing from Sony.

Well the bitches at Sony had better get their act in gear. As the guy they are using just now just isn't Gabe Logan. And he never will be.

It would be good if they got John back on board for the game. I read they were making a new one for the PS3. So here's hoping. To not use John in the role as Gabe is a criminal offence. And such an offence is punishable by having your head ripped off and shoved in your face.
