Kristin Kreuk

I think she is a decent actress but she doesnt fit the description of snow white. I mean the girl is suppose to be as pale as the snow it's the title of the movie. Kristin is dark skinned. Not trying to be mean she was good in the role i have just always envisioned snow white as fair skinned. but that's just me. . .

i think she was really quite perfect for the part of snow white despite her skin tone

and some of those people...will be realtors

I think she was a great snow white! It was the way I always picture, altho I know many people picture her diferantly.

I think that she looked as close as humanly possible, I mean, how many pale-white people have you seen with black hair? I haven't seen any. She fit the role perfectly.

have you ever wondered why people put quotes on the bottom of their posts?

Myself, when I looked in the mirror, back before my hair started going gray. My ancestry is "black Irish," which refers to hair color, not skin color. Very dark brown and even black hair, paired with pale skin and blue eyes is actually quite common in Ireland. It's not exactly rare in the rest of Europe either.

Snow White has cheeks as red as blood, hair as black as ebony, and skin as white as snow. no blue eyes.

Kristin Kreuk's skin isn't that dark. Really, I don't think you can find anyone as pale as 'Snow White'.

She also has lips as red as blood. She did have cheeks as red as blood, too, but more often it's just "Lips red as blood, hair black as ebony, and skin white as snow." And it never said she didn't have blue eyes. The story never said what color her eyes were, so it could be any color. Actually, I thought they looked more green than blue. I think Kristin was great as Snow White, she is so beautiful, and I thought she was quite pale.

I think she made a perfect Snow White in this film. Of course, I am somewhat biased since I would pay to see her act in ANYTHING. In 2007, she also portrayed (brilliantly) a Pakistani Muslim girl in the Canadian Indie 'Partition' which I'm lucky enough to have on DVD.

And now she's also going to be in the 2009 release of Street Fighter - the Legend of Chun-Li, in the title role. I can't wait.

She's beautiful.

I disagree. Although she is naturally dark skinned, i thought they did a great job of making her look really pale and white for this part!

yeah...she did look good. I mean, we all know she's not naturally this pale, so while she did all that staying away from the sun business, even the pale makeup on her-you couldn't even tell it was there! I think she looked fabulous
