Both inside and outside Europe, Europeans had been engaged in "Human" Cruelty and now when most think they are politically correct, they seem to concentrate on 'animal cruelty' rather than the film itself.
Get over yourselves and read the synopsis if you're so put off by "animal cruelty" *before* attempting to watch a movie.
What does being European have to do with anything? What significance does the time scale of "over 200 years" have? Did Europeans arrive late in the game of human cruelty? Do you single them out because they're historically more well-travelled. Is your decision to snigle them out not 'politically correct' (whatever that means this time around)? Should the viewer read the synopsis of every film they watch or book they read lest it in some way offend these PC sensibilities? Oh, and what are you talking about?
