I just recently saw this movie, i loved it. And i am really trying hard to find it for sell some where so if anyone can help me out do so.
sharei just watched this movie the other day it came on ifc or sundance. I really loved it, but i cannot find the dvd anywhere the only place i found one was on ebay but it was a region 3 dvd, does anyone know where i can find this on dvd in region 1? thanks
shareI ended up buying the region 3 version, as it doesn't exist as a region 1 disc. In my opinion, it will never be released in region 1, so that may be the only option you have. I checked sources in Australia, and it was never commercially available there either.
shareIt's scheduled to be released on 24 August 2005 in region 4 (Australia and NZ), but that probably doesn't help too much. I may pick it up, depending on the features or video quality, as the R3 one doesn't look that great.
shareI bought the region 4 Oz DVD, and it has a 'making of' featurette. I guess that's a pretty good deal for such a small independent release. It's very interesting to see the faces of the real actors (Rose Byrne and Rikiya Kurokawa), and their real voices and mannerisms. I would recommend the Australian release - the R2 European one does not have any special features.
