hey does anybody know the song when they are dancing in the bar??

I believe it is by The Ventures, called "Walk, Don't Run"

I just bought this DVD and spent days trying to find out who did that song. It's a song you're sure you have somewhere like on an old K-Tel Explosive Hits LP but how to find it. The music credits are ambiguous as well meaning they credit the Ventures as performers when it was obviously a pub band who performed it in the film. Red herrings aside and suffice to say I have it in my collection; the best version being on an old reel to reel tape Walk Don't Run Vol 2. Why is a song so much better (a song I have heard many times over the years) when it's re-remembered through a good scene in a film?

Great !!! I've been looking for hours now to find it. It's that kind of song you know you've heard before but you have no chance to remember the name. This post here seems to be the only resource to find it. Great !!! Internet is the best invention of mankind ever :D

ha yeah.. now that I have found it and downloaded it, I hear it once in a while on local radio stations. I guess my love of the song came through after I saw the dancing scene.

I love Walk don't run. One of my favourite tunes.

i believe the song is the "walk, don't run '64" version by the ventures, not "walk, don't run" which is also by the ventures. there are slight differences.
