i agree. Marilyn did NOT sleep her way to the top.

Johnny Cash: Tell me you dont love me.
June Carter: I dont love you.
Johnny Cash: Liar.

and you were there to witness that? I love Marilyn and admire what she dealt with in her life and how she came out of that but bottom line is not one of us will ever really know what happened behind closed doors. Don't make her out to be perfect...she in her many interviews and especially in the last interview by George Barris pleaded with people to view her as a human being who made mistakes just like all of us have. And to see her as a real person and not the "Marilyn" on screen. If any of you would like to read this book it is called "Her Life in Her Own Words". Published in 1995. Wonderful and full of very candid and beautiful pictures of Norma Jean.

You explained that perfectly. Its nice to know that some fans do realize the humaness (is that a word?!)of Marilyn. Also I believe I did see the Catherine Hicks movie a long time ago but was not that impressed with it. Wouldn't it be great to see a well done, Big Screen, accurate movie of Marilyn's life sometime...you have to wonder why thats never been done..

...and Angelina Jolie could play her, if she softened her body up a little. ((; Well, okay, her lips could play Marylin's lips then. :P

What was the story with that? Was the relationship depicted in the movie close to reality? Who was Cass in real life? I tried to look him up and couldn't find anything.

Tomorrow's just your future yesterday!

I read somewhere that there were rumours about Marilyn and Cass in RL.

Both Cass and Eddie G are actually on IMDB. Cass is under Charles Chaplin Jr and Eddie G is under Edward G. Robinson Jr.
