I dont have A favourite - or even a definitive list- but these immediately spring to mind:

* "Frances" (about Frances Farmer), with Jessica Lange.

* "Mrs Brown" (about Queen Victoria), with Judi Dench.

* "The Manns", a fantastic three-part semi-documentary account of Thomas & Heinrich Mann and their families.

* The film/miniseries (also semi-documentary) about Albert Speer and Hitler ("Speer und Er", in German) was also very good.

* "Reds" (about John Reed and his what's-her-name companion), with Warren Beatty and Diane Keaton.

* Speaking of Beatty, "Bonnie and Clyde" was pretty good in its own right, although it did romanticise a basically totally unromantic activity.
(Namely, killing. For money. Period.)

* I also liked the one about Jim Morrison.

Of those listed by you I did enjoy the one about Judy Garland (the one with Judi Davis, I assume?), "The Life and Death of Peter Sellers" (whom I don't like at all); I think I recall enjoying "Mommie Dearest", but it was a very long time ago; and the one about Natalie Wood was good, I suppose, although the choice of actress really bothered me (through no fault of her, she did what she could) because she simply didn't look like Natalie. (Silly, I know.)
The same goes for the film about Audrey Hepburn, played by Love-Hewitt. She just wasn't didn't convey Audrey to me.

Anyway, I seem to like most biographical films... ;)

I like them too :)

My favourite is Life with Judy Garland. Her daughter produced it and it covered her whole life really well (it actually showed her death unlike Blonde).

I thought The Audrey Hepburn story was pretty bad, probably because I am a huge Audrey fan and I don't think anyone could portray her well. There were factual errors in it as well.
