I was just curious as to why Andrew Divoff did not return for either 3 or 4. If anyone knows, please do post.

sometimes directors recast people because they say their "going a different way" a lot of directors do it, that why they've had so many different people play jason voorhess in friday the 13th, either that or andrew just didnt want to return

I could be wrong, but I believe he was off filming that Faust movie during most of the filming for at least 3, if not both it and 4, and they wanted to film both back to back.
