Andrew Divoff

Bring back this actor, and finish with 5 in series.. He is the true wishmaster, and why 1 and 2 are so great..

Agreed!

I fully agree. Though, I do have to admit that I liked the Djinn (well, his human form anyway) in the fourth one a lot better than the Djinn in the third one. I think the Djinn in "Wishmaster: The Prophecy Fulfilled," was awesome in the role. Nobody could be better than Divoff, but I think this actor was pretty darn good too. Not sure what I didn't like about the professor in the third movie, but he just didn't seem like Djinn material to me. He seemed too soft. Seemed too sissy to me. I don't know why, but I just couldn't picture him as an evil guy.

Andrew Divoff is just so perfect as the Djinn, when he played him, he was right up there with Krueger, Jason, Pinhead, and the Shape, just a daaaarn good monster.

Actually, I believe he wasn't in it because they wanted to film the two back to back and he was doing the movie "Faust: Love of the damned" at the same time.

Nothing anyone says about a book, movie, etc., for or against, beats experiencing it for yourself.

I found this movie interesting enough to watch , all the way to the end, even though I was tired. The pure evil of the Wishmaster shocked me,and the ensuing violence sickened me.I had to look away at many scenes. The sexuality and nude scenes were quite sensual, I found.I respected Lisa and found her to be a brave, solid woman,a very good role model,as was Sam her crippled boyfriend.I also adored the old farm house that they lived in.This series of movies is alot like the Witchboard movie series. They both had similar looking creatures and the beasts stroking hands all over, in the sex scenes, were the same.

Divoff has NOTHING to do with the serie going down the toilet. The idea is simply sunken out. There is nothing new to it.
Bringing Divoff back wont make Wishmaster 5 a masterpiece.

maybe not, but it would be the sole and single reason to watch it.

That's the general consensus - Andrew Divoff was simply great. The Djinn just turned into a corny assclown in parts 3 & 4, especially 4.

Despite the ridiculous grim solutions to wishes in part 3, the Djinn was actually quite menacing and would hurt people who refused to make a wish. Which I thought was refreshing, albeit not very wishmaster-ish.

Agreed. I also enjoyed the first two cause of him and didn't enjoy the last two because of his absence.
