Maybe its me

Okay, first off I doubt that for such a crummy movie that anyone will even read this so I am going to post it in the sequels as well... but I got a question

I know its supposed be assumed that since the same actors played the Djinn Andrew Divoff in parts 1& 2 and John Novak 3 & 4 that this is supposed to be the same Djinn.

The problem I have with it is that in the first two, they kept the Djinn Imprisoned inside the fire Opal inside the statue. The third time out it was in a star shaped box, and the forth time out it was in another type of box. To me that suggests that the Djinn in parts 2 and four, in addition to having different "hosts" also were differnt Djinns altogether (remember Divoff was both Djinn and host)

The Djinn in Parts 3 and 4 spoke of historical people (Helen of Troy, Agamemnon, Caligula) that he personally "Helped" however, Divoff's Djinn was captured Long before these people were even born.

There was only one Fire opal, and it is supposed to be the same one in all four.
In the first two, in order for the djinn to be released, the stone had to be broken, in the later two the stone had to merely be held or blown on my the waker.

It also doesn't seem that the Djinn in the later two needs the souls he captures for any real purpose. More over, In part one, Divoff's Djinn was ticked with Kane Hodder (the Security guard) because wanted to beat the guard to custard, but he couldn't unless the guard wished for some sort of aggressive act. he was bound to that - however, in part four, the Djinn commanded the lawyer to mutilate himself, then blow his brain out.

and the Djinn in 3 was able to grant a wish not directed at him.

While Divoff's Djinn was resealed back into his stone, nothing was said of what became of this stone, and when he lost in parts 1& 2, the souls he had collected were returned to their bodies, which would mean that those that made wishes would have been brought back to life - their wishes and the consequences suffered after, would have been undone.

The Djinn in part 3 was killed by the Sword of justice and no souls were returned. Also, while Djinn 1 was able to grant a wish that created a Grandfather paradox, Djinn two specifically said he could not grant a wish that affect his existance or presence, thus invalidating the waker's wish . While Divoff's genie granted the wish that the robber was never born. (unless you concede that Djinn 1 just regressed the robber to a fetus. as what was all that was left of him in two)

and while the Djinn in 3 claimed he had no heart - in 4 He falls in love with the waker.

Taken with all these things, do you think that Novak's Djinn were more Powerful than than Divoff's and do you think they gain in power from sequel to sequel.

and if you believe they are the same Djinn, can you explain to my how they could vary in 1 the location that held the stone and 2 the method in which they were awakened, and lastly how the djinn survived dying in 3 to even come back in 4.

its annoying me to no end.

Yeah I have all your answers right here.. bad script writing filled with many plot holes which shows they never even bothered to follow some sort of constant for the story
