Per Capita does Spain have the most beautiful People in the World?

The beautiful Women in this Film reminded me of Travelling thru Spain years ago and being blown away how many stunningly georgeous women I saw( and according to the female travelling companions at the time they had the same feeling about the Spanish Men). Olive skin, Green eyes, style,etc

At the time it got to be a personal joke with myself because every block it seemed I'd pass by "The best looking woman I've seen yet in Europe"...then w/in a block or two I'd be saying the same thing to myself...again and again

I've been all around the world and in my experience, per capita Spain had the most beautiful women I've ever seen(I know attraction is a matter of personal preference and taste,etc...but I'm talking about seeing people that if you asked 100 men if they thought that woman was beautiful-99% of them would say yes)

I've heard Sweden has it's share of gorgeus women(mostly blonde, blue eyes,etc) but I have not been there so I cant compare

Anyone else agree??....Disagree???Have another Vote??

I've been to Barcelona, Spain, and I have to hands-down agree with you. I'm going to be studying abroad in Spain next year, and the entire time I'll be wishing I was with a Spanish girl, and I had the looks of a Spanish guy. Sigh.

To be honest, I didn't find Spanish women very attractive :\
I lived in Israel, Argentina, and have seen German women in Spain, and all of them looked way prettier than Spanish women.

I agree. And like ALL idiotic generalizations about the beauty of all women in an entire nation, it is intrinsically subjective, and can actually be more politically-motivated than physically or aesthetically-motivated.

Spaniards probably like to think Spain has the most beautiful women...Chinese men probably like to think China has the most beautiful women....See the pattern, OP?

Of course it is subjective since it his opinion, he didn't claim it as a truth which is why he asked if others agree nor claim that all Spanish women are beautiful. As for your comment about generalisations being politically motivated, since he clearly indicated he came to his conclusion while travelling through the country and encountering women there if your comment has any merit it doesn't have any place here. As to your final comment since he isn't Spanish why are you making this comment?

It appears in fact you didn't bother reading pass the headline.

Answer: No, Spain does not have the most beautiful people in the world, and there's no place in world like that.

i don't say this only because of the "beauty is subjective" thing.

first of all, you can't see many "ugly" people in films! that's bitter truth. especially leading actors/actresses... that's why there a lot of talentless people in films who come from modeling. if you aren't "beautiful" by filmmakers' standarts, you must be VERY talented to get a role. or you get the "bad-looking man/woman" roles.

outside the films... i'll explain below...

there's "beauty" people may have naturally. but personal care is a big factor at physical look and it depends on economic situation. women from Spain or Sweden and women from [for example] Haiti or Central African Republic don't have same access to the materials needed for a "better look". let's take all the richness from the Swedish girl and see how she looks without all those cosmetic goods, useful foods, and alike.

the myths like "Swedish girls are the best" are totally bull....

Haha, that's cos you're Colombian. I would say there's some Colombian women that could start wars with just one look, but the median beauty is not very good, I would say.

For me it would have to be Sweden, again I mean on average they have a very high level and a great confluence of different ethnicities. Also I think they have a much more sophisticated sense of style, much more natural, less focused on wearing lots of makeup and high heels. But like a lot of people have said, this is completely subjective and hardly a factor that should have any importance. To each his own.

It is very common to want exactly what you do not have... or what you do not usually see. Just as simple as this.

I am from Spain and I have been more impressed with women I've seen and met in France, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Ukraine.

But this has very little relation with the impression or artistry of this Medem's movie.

Could be but I never understood this all obsession of women being the prettiest in this country and in this country - its all subjective as well as thinking that the grass is greener on the other side.
