New Press Release August 2013

Today Aug.17,2013 Associated Press (hardly a kook organization) released a new article under the byline David Porter. It says that 1,100 files, each 1 to 20 pages, are still stored in the National Archives Center in College Park MD and never been released. At least 300 documents are about just one CIA agent.

Warren Commission Council Burt Griffin (still alive, not a kook) says it was "an act of bad faith" that the files about this guy were concealed.

G. Robert Blakey, Council for House Assassinations Committee and non-kook, says he was "snookered" about this agent(his word).

A Federal Appeals Court (definitely not kooks) said "Records about individuals allegedly involved in President Kennedy's assassination serve a public benefit" in a ruling related to the files.

So, why after 50 years when no possible harm could be done to national security are these files still secret?

The Associated Press (non-kook) conclusion is "Official investigations of the Kennedy Assassination were not able to provide complete answers"- a direct quote from the article.

I dare you to post that on the JFK board and wait for the reaction!

I heard years ago that the files on JFK's assassination won't be made accessible for the public as long as Caroline Kennedy lives.
