That's one creepy clown.

I was a fervent Bozo watcher when I was little kid in the late '50s and early '60s. Strange as it may seem now, back then, long before the clown phobia thing had started, clowns were seen as cheerful, fun characters, especially by children. If you had told almost anyone in 1960 that one day clowns would be regarded with fear and loathing, they would have thought you were nuts.

I still think the vast majority of the populace has no problem whatsoever with clowns. Everything today seems to be annoyingly motivated to be trendy and it became "cool" a few years ago to profess a fear/hatred of clowns.

QueenFan, you are absolutely right. In the last couple of decades clown loathing has become trendy, and to be cool you have to join in. Personally, I don't hate 'em or love 'em. I'm clown-neutral, but my childhood memories of Bozo and other clowns are positive.
