Was that George Eads (plays 'Nick Stokes' from 'CSI') in a cameo?!

Is that not George Eads - the actor who plays 'Nick Stokes' from TV's 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation' (2000 +) - in a cameo at the start of the film?! I am sure I recognised him playing a man talking about his negative experiences with women, in the character of a 'spinner' in the gym on the gym's cycles.

I could swear it was! (BTW, this would have been before he put on all that weight-lifting mass that he gained after a few years in 'CSI', so he doesn't look as "beefed up" as he sadly  does now, so is not that easy to recognise him in this 2002 role unless a viewer remembers what he used to look like a decade + ago.)

I looked up George Eads at his record at IMDb (www.imdb.com/name/nm0247040/) to check, but there seems to be nothing there citing this film! 

Anybody know if it was George or not? I had a look at the cast list for 'The Sweetest Thing' (2002) but couldn't see anything  cited re this role or who played it.
