The success of the movie, with the intriguing plot between two families and the superiority of the ordinary man,Saban, over the pashas from the palace create a euphoric comedia, a kind of peasants' gloray over the "so-called" authority.
It might give an idea about the light-heartedness of us, Turkish people,towards authority and rotten politicians.
