For me the most out of character moment was when Picard order to Ram the Other Ship. I mean is this the same Picard who was so concerned about the safety of his crew. That even Q would joke about it.

shareI think you missed the whole point of that scene. The enterprise only had limited phaser power by this point. Shooting at the remans wouldn't have worked. It was imperative that shinzon not make it to earth. Shinzon also showed a weakness. Picard says 'he thinks he knows exactly what I'm going to do' picard was also being unpredictable.
shareExactly, it's supposed to be out of character. That's precisely why he did it. It was the one move Shinzon wouldn't see coming.
