i know exactly how you feel!
i really wanted a spyro toy, but they aren't sold anywhere, then i found a crane machine in an arcade that had them, and i'm not kidding you, i spent god knows how many hours and so much money getting one!
i now also have a spyro slinky and a toy spyro holding a skateboard!
they really should properly sell spyro toys.

I would so have done that--parked at the crane machine and spent an ungodly amount of money trying to get Spyro merchandise. It seems odd that there isn't a lot of merchandise for Spyro or, for that matter, for Crash. Those were really popular games in their day, and have a huge following still, it seems.

At least they did actually SELL crash toys for a while. i've got one. but it seems that spyro toys were only allowed to be sold in arcades. mine has a label that says "for arcades and theme park prizes only- sale forbidden" its a bit strange. but i did read once that the creators of spyro didn't approve of toy spyros. i wonder why?

A few years ago my husband won me a toy Spyro from Busch Gardens in Tampa. He's SO cute, and I'm such a huge fan. I agree that there should be more toys available!!

Maybe the don't want the character to be made too commercial. You know, too common. If they allowed too many toys to be made and sold, then Spyro might not be as popular...That did't sound right, did it? But that's what I think the original creators might have thought.
