Big van zan jump?

Did van zan actually think he was gunna kill that dragon with that big leap at the end with the axe?

"COME ON BIG BOY!!!!!!!!"

He was just geeked up, full of adrenaline.

Obviously didn't think it through, as the dragon took about a half second to adjust his flight speed and effed him up. It LOOKED good for a second, though. Even if the dragon had missed him, he still had 150 feet of GRAVITY to deal with (fwiw, I didn't like his chances with that).

Gotta give it to Van Zan. He made me proud to be an American with his passion to kill the dragon. Wish he'd planned it out better, but hey.

When we're thinking about our own brain, would that be a mental paradox??

Maybe he was figuring to stick in the dragon's throat? Then it could choke on his body and the axe....

"....and today is only yesterday's tomorrow...."

could not have said it better

I'm pretty sure he knew there was no escape from that high perch he'd got himself on before he'd be toast so he might as well go out in style!

reply

The above poster gets it. He knew he was backed into a corner and was trying to buy time for the others to get ready to try and actually kill the thing. So when the moment came, he held it's attention as best he could then he decided to go out like a boss.

reply

It'd be cool if he had.
