Agree completely. And how about vague laws that can be applied at anytime by the police like "disturbing the peace". As an example, apply that one at a noisy concert...and yet I'm sure the cops have and the prosecutors have won convictions.
Or if you're behind the wheel how about "stunting"? (That's what it's called here, your country or state probably calls it something else) I've actually heard of people here who've had that law applied to themselves for accelerating "too quickly" from a stop light. (No, there was no squealing of tires)
Yes, catchall laws, the tip of the iceberg.
Way too much power has been put in the hands of the police and government and that's the beginning of a "police state". As you alluded to; make everyone a criminal and they're much easier to "handle".

Having priors means that when you need Police or Judicial help they have an excuse not to take you serious. In some cases Police will harass you when you move into a new neighborhood just to let the neighbors know where you stand. They like to make these about three AM by arriving lights flashing on several cars coming from different directions for maximum attraction. When they finally drag you outside for your introduction to the crowd gathered you see they are still canvassing your neighborhood shining lights from street and alley across windows for several blocks around. You can refuse your Drunk Test Calisthenics to be handcuffed and taken away on some BS Resisting charge that may even hold up in Court if you do not have the megabucks it takes to hire an effective Lawyer, so you put in your performance until they are satisfied and leave. Good luck making friends or having the neighbors look out for you after this kind of introduction. You have no choice but to get used to being burglarized and vandalized because no one ever sees anything. It causes pressures on your children at school and even if they are injured the kids from so called respectable families hang together against them.
Is it Nazism or just the seven deadly sins in action? Whatever one may label it, the New World Order is set to take it to extremes.
President Obama signed EO 13575 which is touted as a step toward UN Agenda 21 which given recent events looks more like what the 1% are working toward.
This is a worse threat than the Nazis were as the power is not as centralized and concerns people across many more borders. Under Agenda 21 at least 70% of us may be marked for death by attrition. Now may be the beginning of that dystopian World made popular by feature films. One thing for sure life is about to get interesting.
Too many people use credit to buy things they don't want, to impress people they don't like.

"Exhibition of speed" is the charge in Ca. A friend of mine lost traction on some pebbles while making a normal turn onto the main road and he was pulled over for spinning his tires(i forget the actual violation). We had to go back and show the cop where the rocks were for him to not ticket him...
