Lynda La Plante, there you go again! (SPOILER!!!)

After being a huge fan of Trial and Retribution series, this movie was an annoying disappointment to me.

That lady Fiona Shaw completely ruined the film for me. Why does it always have to be a bunch of old maids, every time the movie/series-writer is a woman? Shaw was 43 at the time, but she looked like at least 50+. Her demeanor didn't suit the theme at all. She tried hard to look like an intelligent profiler, but failed pitifully. She smiles with joy in a gruesome crime scene, as if she is meeting people at a cocktail party. She keeps her forehead tightly wrinkled at police meetings. Her speech is so slurred that it is difficult to hear and understand. She sounds like she has a constant cold and blocked nose.

And the story was utterly predictable from the very beginning. The moment storyline starts, I said to myself, one of these detectives is the serial killer, who must be a cop.
