Oh C rap, did i just rip this off

I'm writing a short screenplay about a group of allied soldiers in WWII who get cut off from their platoon and take shelter in a network of abandoned underground trenches, claustraphobia sets in as the group can go back or risk being caught so them must go deeper.
It's kind of psychological as they begin to turn on each other.

Now, i haven't seen 'The Bunker' so i don't know but the plot sounds kinda similar. Did i rip it off without realising it?

P.S. Myn is titled 'Devil in the Trenches'

Mmm ... anyone who sees your film and has seen The Bunker will certainly compare the two.
That said, this film is more about paranoia than claustrophobia (although the horrors are very real to the protagonists).
Here's an idea: throw in a couple of zombies, then no-one will ever think you've ripped off this film!

We'll do it doggy-style so we can both watch X Files.

Hmmm...to many movies like this.

Deathwatch-the best.

Resembles Deathwatch a lot more, but they're both similarly based in psychological horror rather than gore.

My advice would be to change the setting and some of the plot...for example, you could set it in the Vietnam War and have it as a bunch of US Soldiers taking shelter in an old temple, or in Africa with some Desert Rats hiding from a sandstorm in an abandoned bunker network or something.
