Brilliant.

I feel so alive when I watch this movie. Which is ironic because it is set in such an imprisoned place. So many different personalities, all with an extraordinary philosophy on life. The acting was incredible. And one of the most well-written pieces that I have ever seen. I agreed with every damn line in that film. It is everything I believe in. It's so hopeful. Even in the darkest parts of the film. And the reality of it is what is truly brilliant. Just a beautiful, beautiful film. One of my favorites.

I just caught it on cable, and I agree. It's a brilliant movie in every way. And Gordon-Levitt, who I've never thought of as a great actor, impressed me immensely. Incredible performances, writing, directing and cinematography.
