I always thought Theodore would eat just about anything, and now all of the sudden here's Dave mentioning he's a vegetarian... when did that happen?

I would say that since Theo is such a soft-spoken nice guy, it makes sense. Honestly, i thought it was a nice touch. But to answer your question, i believe this was the first mention of it.

he wasn't in the 60s, in the episode I found on u tube of the alvin show called dude ranch. Theo orders like 3 hamburgers
