It... was that bad???

Okay I thought this was an okay film, maybe 6 out of 10, but I can't believe it only scored 3.5... jeeez!

I enjoyed it, but it seems as if a lot of others get too hung up on Matt LeBlanc in a dress, go "OH GOD MY POOR EYES!" and whine about nightmares and stuff.

I don't even think it was the drag, just the lack of campaigning.

i thought it was funny, my favorite line was:

Franz: [Pronouncing "bisexual" with a thick German accent] He's bee-sexual, right?
Tony Parker: Right. I have sex with bees.
Franz: I never understand why you go around with queens.
Tony Parker: Well, they're bigger than bees.

so holarious.

I just think that America wasn't ready to have boy!kissing at the time. But now that brokeback mountain came out, they are all over Torchwood.

So sad for Matt Leblanc.

A bunch of us watched it last night and thought it was a hoot (or should I say a poof). Love Eddie Izzard, he was great in it. There were a bunch of funny momments. But the only extra that worked on the DVD was the trailer.

Silly Nazies....

he looked like an Oompa Loompa! haha.

I thought 3.5 was generous.

As much as I enjoy Eddie Izzard, this film was just terrible. It would have been better if it went for over-the-top comedy instead of feigning any serious untertones. It just didn't gel.

Matt LeBlanc is simply a mediocre actor, in pants or a dress. He should stick to dopey TV characters, it is his strength.

Way down deep I'm very superficial.

this movie was pretty bad in my book. i mean a few of the dreamtic prat where we saw the distroction of the city by the war was intersting and ofcouse eddie izzard was great as always but other thrn that there was nothing intersting in this movie.

An odd one... A rather interesting idea, but let down by mediocre writing, patchy acting, a very clunky first 20 minutes or so and, at times, peculiar editing, pacing and variations in tone... Having said that, the period details were good, the action scenes were OK and I thought the characters were rather better drawn than in a lot of films... With relatively little extra effort, this could have been a much better film. But, as it is, I quite happily vegetated in front of it for a couple of hours when I really should have been going to bed last night.

Eddie Izzard made it all worthwhile. I watched to the end in hopes there would be more of him, but his music hall sequence was worth the price of renting the DVD. Everything else was abyssmal.

There are easily worst movies. For $15m, they got quite a lot for the money.

But I found it amusing and funny, especially with Eddie.

My Favorite line is: "First, I'm a bisexual lesbian trapped in a mans body, but its more complicated than that..."
