I sided with Perfect totally for what Luger did at Mania 9 back in the day. In wrestling they expect us the fans to side with the face all the time. Didn't matter to me that Luger was the super baby face and fighting for America, he was an arrogant a$$hole the previous year who cheated to pin Perfect then knocked him out when he wasn't looking. To further the continuity, two years later in 1996, Cornette was pushing for Perfect to be the in ring referee for Michaels/Bulldog but that got flagged and JR made reference to Perfects questionable officiating at Mania 10.

So, Macho Man goes on Monday Night Raw (Was it called Raw...I remember Vince, Heenan, Duggan, Hillbilly Jim, and Perfect all sat around a table) and Macho called for Perfect to be his partner. So we all know what happened and lets now FF to the Rumble of 93. I felt Perfect was INSANE OVER, this was the time WWF needed to pull that plug. He was ready to main event. I honestly felt he should have won the rumble 1993. You guys gonna tell me you wouldnt want Bret Vs. Perfect two? (Remember, KOTR 93 havent happened). Perfect Vs. Bret, main event, and I felt give Perfect the strap. The guy was so over in 1993. Now of course theyd had to switch some stuff up, but big deal! WM9 was so weak. Id had...
Luger beating Tatanka to end his streak (Tatankas streak went nowhere, this would give Lex a push)
Yoko Vs. Earthquake and Duggan in a handicap match...with Yoko getting the win and a push.
Now my issue is what to do with Shawn (Michaels). He faced Tatanka, if Tatanka is with Lex, what to do? HBK could have an open challenge....or actually, I wrote my card on the WM9 board....anywho...
