i've just rediscovered this show after years of not knowing when or if it was on. so i watched the last season and was eagerly awaiting the oppertunity to watch the entire show from the beginning. they show the pilot, and then SKIP TO THE EPISODE WHERE HER BOYFRIEND IS SHOT!!! why can they never show a series from the beginning WHY WHY WHY!!!!

the television networks... they do it with all the shows, instead of showing the show through from the beginning, they'll skip a season here or there, or restart from the beginning only to skip foreward a season the next night, it SUCKS. i never saw strong medicine on it's first run so while it was still on lifetime i started to watch the reruns, i wasnt even aware who dana stowe was until i had seen the last few seasons 2-3 times because they kept skipping her seasons.

yeah it's kinda awsome... but it's like they dont even want to show the seasons with dana. they advertise the show and talk about two strong women referring to lu and andy... i'm like WTF dana was an integral part of the show for like 3 seasons and they seem to want to ignore her completly.
shareThat doesn't make sense. I hate it when networks just use a show as filler and never treat the repeats properly and run them beginning to end. It's disrespectful to the actors too and it hits them in the pocketbook. By not showing any of the Dana eps, they're making it so Janine Turner gets no residuals, while everyone else gets paid. Almost makes you wonder if they're doing it on purpose for some reason.

while i personally believe that some of the final seasons' episodes are among the best, the first few seasons were awesome, i mean what the heck is up with these networks. mabie they want to censor the story arc where lu is raped because it crushes the strong feminist vibe of the channel, or something stupid like that.
shareThis really confused me since I just started to watch the series when Lifetime Real Women showed the later seasons. I went on vacation for a week, and then Dana was replaced by Andy Campbell.
shareThey were showing it in sequence for a while... I watched the entire series, 1st ep to last with no jumps in the season at all. But recently it's been skipping around- booooooooo... I like Andy just fine, but still, it's nice to keep it in order.
