I know it's a bit of a long shot but does anyone have a copy of this on VHS? I really like behind the scenes and "making of" stuff, and ET is one of my favourite films from when I was a kid so would like to see it. But can't seem to find it anywhere :-(
If anyone has it and could do me a copy i'd be eternally grateful.
well, i got a vhs tape of the movie, might it be on there? i know on the blues brothers 2000 tape there is a documentry on along. i've heard of this movie all my life, (thought it would be in the top 250), and i just got it on tape, and it's also airing on tv today i think, so i guess there is a big chance i might get to see it soon. i don't know if it's a kids movie or science fiction or what.

noticed the subtitles were way back in 93. the tape i got is from 2002 with two versions on, i tell you, that must have been towards the end of putting so much into vhs stuff.
i enjoy an episode of "alf" or the movie "aurora encounter" just as much, i kept wondering where their daddy was. that was mentioned through the movie. seems the people (authorites) here were kinder to the alien than in "alf" and "the aurora encounter". i can't believe i just replayed to my own post.

I don't understand why this doc wasn't included on the DVD release as it's so much better than the new one they included that is only like 60 min (24 min on the 2-disc set).
