Why was Lukas Haas in a British film?

Why was Lukas in this film? And why didn't he put on a fake accent?

he started a fake accent at the start of the film, but lost it steadily as the film progressed. He is an awful actor!!

I noticed the accent drop too! I mean, first I was like, "Okay, at least he's trying to sound British" until they got further into the movie and I was like, "How did he suddenly lose his fake accent?" LoL

LOL I know.. and did you hear him call that guy Joe 'Bro'? That sounded so fake,I never heard a Brit use the word 'bro'.

I also noticed he used the phrase 'jack-off'. Usually us Brits just say 'wank'!

"It's a big rock.....Can't wait to tell my friends, they don't have a rock this big."

reply

oh, those bloody wankers!

To U2DesertRose:

Although I don't personally use the word "bro" it IS used a lot in the UK.

Usually "bro" or "bruv" (bruv being the Chav alternative lol)

What was Haas thinking? The role was a pointless supporting one and completely forgettable.

reply

Easy answer.... he wanted easy money and he couldn't find work in the States
