Who was Dr Satans Minion?

There is no mention of the character who played Dr Satans Minion. He sorta looks like the monster in Resident Evil 2. But in House of 1000 Corpses the scene where it talks about Tinys father burning the house down and leaving the family, it shows him with the gas can, so I can assume it's the family's father. But it does not really talk much about this character or what his name was or it never showed in the crudités who played him. I would have loved to have seen more of him, and thought he was much more scarier then Dr Satan. Any guesses on this character, what are your thoughts?

He is credited as "The Professor". I agree he is an entertaining and scary character, but he was just a hallucination. After all Denise has been through, it's no surprise she would have crazy nightmares while knocked out. Denise had a nightmare earlier in the film too about a Skunk Ape (a.k.a. "Bigfoot") and visiting the headstone of Doctor Satan, who is also a made-up character invented by Captain Spaulding to lure victims onto the Firefly's property so they could be kidnapped.

Rob Zombie said in the commentary that the story of Tiny's origins is a lie. The Firefly's lied all the time to entertain themselves and others.

Oh he was credited?! So I now know who played that character! Thanks.

Are you just pulling this out of nowhere or did Rob Zombie actually explain this somewhere?

reply

Wow, now that you mention it it's all just Denise's imagination... I was always under the impression that this Dr Satan guy was an actual part of the family. Explains why he was so mysterious. We only got to see him in one short scene but it was terrifying. Great character tbh.

zeeboe82 The Professor and Dr. Satan wasn't a hallucination, where are you getting that from? Nowhere in the movie does it suggest that, the movie is just out there and over the top. Dr. Satan is in a deleted scene from Devil's Rejects in a hospital bed and rips a nurse's throat out, so that alone debunks the idea that Dr. Satan was a made-up character by Spaulding.
