Question about another horror movie

So a buddy and I were having a horrormovie-weekend, he asked if I'd seen this movie and I said "Sure, that's the one with the freaks in a circus or carnival and has a scene where they cut a poor girl in half with a saw, brutal stuff!"

Obviously he looked at me weirdly and simply said "Nope."

Turns out I hadn't seen this movie before - and that leaves me wondering what movie am I thinking of then? Been bugging me since Sunday!

Does the above scene sound familiar to anyone (I know it's pretty vague, been a while since I saw it)?

Well, this is a long shot. But, could it have been Killer Klowns from Outer Space?

I haven't seen that movie so it's just a guess.

I was thinking it sounds more like either "Blood Feast " or "2000 Maniacs"

Thanks for the replies all, we finally identified the movie - it was "2001 Maniacs: Field of Screams"

My buddy hasn't seen this one so next 'bloody sunday' movie night this is on the list. If it's as bad as I recall, it'll be well received.

For a moment, I thought you meant Terrifier. That has a very graphic scene, of a girl being sawed in half by a clown.

The Funhouse Maniacs? I think that's what it's called. Obviously a play off Tobe Hooper's 'Funhouse'... Unless that's the one, I can't remember scene be scene
