Great Film

I saw this film at the Cleveland International Film Festival in 2004 and it was my top rated of the 50 films I saw.

This film is largely auto-biographical, based on the childhood of the director, Juan Gerard's childhood in Cuba.

It is his first film and he spoke at the festival following the film. The film is obviously a labor of love and it is crafted with honesty and integrity and a nostalgic feel without being overdone.
