About the movie...

I'm sure I've missed something here but are they planning to make this a live action movie, or something animated, like the Pixar movies, and such? I do believe animated would make it extremely interesting... Live action... I'll be suprised if they can pull that one off and make it absolutely amazing. I can't wait to see the Cheshire Cat :)

Well, they've talked and talked and talked about it ever since probably around 2001, but due to countless problems (no screenwriter, no director, etc.) nobody has really gotten around to it. Since there's technically no movie yet, there has been no absolute word on whether one's going to be made in live-action or CG, but they're leaning toward live-action and even had Sarah Michelle Gellar cast as Alice for a while, though I don't know if they still have her.

It's a shame, really... it could be a REALLY great film. I just hope that if they do finally make one, it won't be hacked to pieces in order to pass it off as a summer blockbuster.

So are we like, best friends now that you've seen what's inside my freezer?

Scary Dream, I LOVE your signature!! That part is too cute XD May Rocks. Anyway, I doubt they'll make the movie anymore.

Actually, there still may be hope! I just found this interview from June 2008 on American McGee's website concerning the Alice movie

ATTENTION ALICE FASNS: According to the Tim Burton Alice in Wonderland FAQ, the film version of American McGee's Alice is NOT going to happen! Both Sarah Michelle Gellar and director Marcus Nispel have dropped out of the film causing Unviversal Pictures to drop the project, putting it back on halt yet again.

Vampires are so overrated. Thanks Twilight!

Tim Burton should do American McGee's Alice.

I'm quite aware I'm not the first person to think this.

Yeah, and unfortunately, SCOTT FAYE cites "Max Payne: The Movie" as "his eight year effort to get the best Max Payne film produced". Considering that Max Payne the movie was a piece of frak, he's pretty much worthless.

Considering that Max Payne the movie was a piece of frak
Yeah, a piece of frak that made over 200% profit

Just because you coat a turd in gold, doesn't mean it's not still a turd.

Perhaps, but if you coat a turd in gold and sell it for a 200+% profit, it's safe to assume that the turd successfully made money.
