Woke up to this...

So weird. This is so weird. People are so weird. Robert Downey Jr. looks like his dad.

That's about all I can take away from this film!

yeah, you're right on both counts. Very weird and RDJ does look a lot like his dad. (that's why I watched it.)

Nice to see Yankee Stadium again. And isn't it nice that SIN has fallen out of favor? (My cat couldn't stand that pair of pants anyway.)

Actually, because it was less than an hour long, I found it pretty easy to watch. I'm not too sure what the rest of it was about but I found the interviews quite entertaining. Overall, it was a pretty strange piece but still worth my time because of those interviews.

Whenever my cat has been good for a period of time, I usually reward him with an occasional trip to the meowseum.

The whole baby chimp thing really creeped me out though.

Well, like I said, the interviews in the film were what kept my attention. Not sure what the rest of it was about.

I just DVD'd off of TCM the other morning. I was hoping to see some cool NYC footage. Watching it now. Petty weird but I guess that was avant grade in the late sixties.

Saw this in Greenwich Village in the 60s and today you would have to put yourself into that period of time to understand why we were blown away by the film (and Downey's Chafed Elbows). There was no SNL satire or Woody Allen doing a sex scene with Howard Cosell commentary (Bananas) or much nudity on the screen. So this was the pioneer that opened a lot of eyes and doors. And the audience was all stoned so that didn't hurt.
