Anyone else have the same reaction?

I only knew Brad Dourif as Saavedro, no knowledge of his acting career, never had seen him in anything else.

So I was puzzled when seeing Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers in the theater that Grima Wormtongue looked so disturbingly familiar. Sure he had black hair, an English accent and NO eyebrows, but there was no mistaking that sinister presence that Brad Dourif can bring to the story.

Or as in my case, a computer game.

Anyone else go the route I came?

Actually, for me it was the exact opposite. I only played Exile for the first time two months ago, and when I watched the first cut scene, I almost fell out of my seat.. "OMYGAW... That's Wormtongue!! That's awesome!"

reply

That is mostly what I hear from people, if they've heard of/played Exile at all. Lol.

Actually, yeah, I know what you mean. I've played Exile before the LotR movies, and I freaked when I saw Grima.

"Sir, there is a multi-legged creature crawling on your shoulder."

For me seeing Brad Dourif in Myst reminded me of Piter in David Lynch's Dune. I kept looking for the red-stained lips. *grin*
