The Great Santa Claus Switch First Muppet Christmas Feature

Hi there I just got done watching my copy of a Muppet Family Christmas on dvd which I ordered from the United Kingdom. It really is in my honest oppinion the perfect family christmas movie.... however after extensive research I found that there was a feature on the 70's that was called The Gret Santa Claus Switch. This is the actual first time we get to see gonzo, and there are some things that I personally believe lead us up to some of our future favorite characters and shows. Like (Frakle Rock) and the first appearance of the Great Gonzo. I found this film on youtube and granted its not the best of quality but you really do get to see a feast for the eyes of what young children in the 70's got to see. The story is very simple its about Santa getting ready to make his normal xmas eve run, when he is kidnapped by what looks like his evil twin. There are some cute and humorous scenes with his elves who all have cute names. And everytime role call is done there is an elf missing and an evil monster in its place.

This is something that all diehard fans should see, even if you not a diehard fan or have kids, its something that will lightup the inner child inside of you. This show was part of the Ed Sullivan show which the Ed Sullivan people still have rights to as it was part of his show.

Lets hope that if enough people push for this which I have faith that it will happen, that we will see this masterpiece released on dvd.
Until then we will have to be greatful for the posted copy on youtube.com
