Unfortunately we don't see much of 'John Q' in the real world

Have you noticed that we don't usually hear about parents like him, that would or have sacrificed literly everything for their child. But yet Every day you hear some story on the news about child abuse, molestation and so on. Makes you wonder. So do you think its the medias fault ? Or is tere no hope for the human race ?

Ooooo but there Was a story about a father from Ukraine I think which killed his sons killers ? or something like that , i don't really remember

It is because we like to hear about these things (child abuse and such), and the media feeds our hunger by broadcasting such news. I mean, who'd watch the news bulletin if it talks about caring fathers providing care for his children, or about moms who work odd jobs to feed their kids ?

But to say that there is no hope in this world is a defeatist attitude. It is like saying that you have failed your examination even before you attempt it.

There is still many more caring people out there in the world, and you will know about it if the media didn't portray the world in such a distressing light.
