'Obese'?

In the Netflix description of this movie it said something along the lines of "Obese goth girl and her gay best friend."

There is NO way that Sara Rue is obese. She isn't even fat. She's chubby at most. WTF Netflix.

reply

I agree, I'm obese and I can tell you right now that Sara Rue is not.

Same here. But for Hollywood's standards, she's like a house. You know how it is. Even in an Indie flick like this she's described and defined by her weight. Whatever. She rocked the sh!t out of this movie, so she wins in my book.

I agree. I'm actually watching it right now and can't help but think every time I watch it whoever made the description needs to get their eyes checked. If I was built like her, oh man. I'd be happy! =) Goergeous girl.

She had big boobs and was a little thick but in NO way "obese" - whoever wrote that movie description is a jerk. And there are tons of comments on NetFlix telling them they should change it.

Obese is a medical term, it doesn't just vaguely mean "really really fat". Modern standards have drifted upward, to where someone "only" 40 lbs overweight SEEMS "normal" now. She is very likely obese, meaning a BMI of >30.

Don't get me wrong- she's smokin hot, and I would have no problem taking care of bidniss.
