Is there a Widescreen DVD of this out there?

This film was obviously shot in anamorphic widescreen, so watching the pan & scan R1 DVD was like taking a trip back in time. Actually, since I grew up weened on P&S vids, I kind of like the surreal nostalgic feeling I get from the pan & scan versions of anamorphic cinemascope movies. But combine those vintage cropped and cramped anamorphic visuals with the part-dubbed, part-spoken multi-language willy nilly schizo soundtrack and the R1 P&S dubbed GEN-Y DVD version makes for one goofy-ass bizzarro surreal experience! I love it! I would however actually like to see this in its original ratio. I love anamorphic Panavision films. They have a look all their own. So anyways, is there a widescreen DVD of this out there? Cinemageddon and AsianDVDClub didn't have a widescreen copy and I couldn't find any Asian imports of it on buyoyo, yesasia or eBay, which is odd. All I could find besides the R1 P&S GEN-Y COPS DVD release from Universal is the R2 UK DVD version titled: GEN-X COPS 2: METAL MAYHEM. Does anybody have that UK DVD and is it widescreen or subtitled? Or does anyone know of a place to get a widescreen subbed Asian import of this?
