Help an American out.

I have been hearing about this movie for so long and I've heard so many good things about it that I really want to see it. The bad thing? I live in the United States and no shops here sell it, and no websites in English sell it either. I've been to a couple of Dutch websites, but they don't ship to America.

What I would like to ask is for one of my fellow movie lovers in Europe to pick this movie up for me and ship it to me. You can contact me on AIM at dannyq1972 or through E-mail at Dtaraschke at Cox dot net. I would, of course, provide the monies for this transaction up front.

If someone could help me here (or point me to a website in english that sells to America that carries it^_^;;) it would be MUCH appreciated.

Assuming you know about the Region 2 and PAL problems and have found a solution for that:

you could try www.freerecordshop.com (site of a Dutch cd store chain, in English), shipping costs outside Europe are E3,50. It works just like Amazon.com you have to create an account, and can pay by credit card. There's a 'help' link at the bottom of their home page that explains it in more detail.

If that doesn't work out you could PM if you'd like further help.

Or, if you can deal with having it in Region2 (or PAL if you want videocassette) then try Ebay. I found it easily.

But forget about the movie, read the book by Harry Mulish. The movie is alright, the book is terrific
