Waiting for a Mantle movie

I'm still waiting for a Mickey Mantle movie. If they can make a movie about Micky Ward, they can make a movie about Mickey Mantle. I think all Yankee fans and most baseball fans would want to see it. Or anyone that wants a good biopic or a movie showing the dangers of alcohol would want to see it.

This was a Mantle movie. Really. It may "clear up" Roger Maris' story, but its so pro-Mantle. Billy Crystal dedicated this flick to his father and Micky Mantle. Big fan.

Pro Mantle? I thought the movie was pro Maris if anything, all the way.

I'd LOVE to see a Mantle Biopic. It'll be hard for anyone to top Thomas Jane's performance in this film, however.

Actually, I hated Thomas Jane as Mantle. He didn't look anything like him or sound anything like him. And I have to say that the real Mickey was way better looking.

I thought the cast was near-perfect for both Mantle and Maris.

Originality needs a reboot.
