I'm still sticking with Wrestlemania 17 as best ever WWE event, but this one is definitely top 10, maybe even top 5. With just 2 super-popular matches it's still really great. (Hulk/Andre, Savage/Steamboat).
This is definitely the best Wrestlemania of the 1980's.

Yes, the Steamboat-Savage match is a classic. But the main event sucked! The two most unathletic men in the sport trying to fight is sincerely unentertaining. Most of the matches ended with the heels' cheating. (I know, heels cheat, but like 7 or 8 times???) It wasn't one of my favorites. Wrestlemania 10 will always be the best (in my mind).
Don't be so suburban...
Hogan vs. Andre was not about workrate. It was about the two biggest names in the sport (and two of the biggest names ever) in a match in front of 90,000+ people. It was a once in a lifetime situation and that is what makes this the biggest WM main event of all time. Nothing these days will ever top it because we see main event level matches every week now. Nothing is new anymore.
