Would you book this card any different?

If you were the WWF booker at the time in charge of planning the show, what might you change.

1) Bulldogs, Santana go over Harts, Davis- The Harts had already gone over for the belts and people probably wanted a Davis squash. I understand that you'd probably want to keep the Harts strong, but give the fans a fun time with Davis taking most of the grief.

2) Jake Roberts go over HTM. Come on, fans would've loved to see HTM get DDT'd and have Damien put on him.

idk about jake over honky. however i would definately put bulldogs and tito santana over the harts and danny davis. 3 great wrestlers vs. a near 300 pounder, another great wrestler and danny davis. i think bulldogs and tito should take the win. i think that i would have also let savage retain the title for just a little longer, put savage over steamboat in the silverdome.

I "sort of" agree with you. With the current card, I would have definitely put the Bulldogs and Tito over the Harts and DDD. I also would have had Jake DDT and pin HTM cleanly. Believe it or not, I would have also had Andre win the title.

My overall disagreement is with the tag titles. I would have had a tag title match between the Bulldogs and the Harts. Give them 20 minutes and it would have been the best tag match of all time. If they wanted to keep the belts on the Harts (which they obviously did by not booking a title match), Davis could have cost the Bulldogs the match, then the Bulldogs and Tito (coming down) could have beat up Danny as the Harts and Jimmy retreat to the back with the tag belts.

I would have changed a few things for sure. First of all, I would have put Tito Santana vs Butch Reed (since they were obviously feuding at the time, anyways), with Butch coming out on top just barely.
This would leave Koko to wrestle Danny Davis, with the Bulldogs costing DDD the match.
Have the Harts score a victory over the Bulldogs ,thanks to help from DDD, hence the Bulldogs jumping him in the Koko match.
Andre would win the title, thanks to every heel on the card from Bob Orton to Iron Sheik attacking Hogan while the ref is down. This would turn Hogan heel, partially because none of the faces came to help him until it was too late.
The Jake/Honky match would be a schmozz(due to time constraints) with Jake exacting revenge a la DDT and "Damien's dinner time".
The JYD/Race match would have the same victor, except have Race do it with his cradle-suplex instead of a dreadful belly2belly suplex.
Get rid of the midgets, just have a Bundy/Hillbilly match with Hillbilly getting squashed as usual.
After the Can-am/Orton-Muraco match, have Demoltion come to the ring and attack Martel and Zenk during their celebration. Blackjack Mulligan and Danny Spivey try to come to their aid but also get squashed for their efforts. We then see Demolition gesturing that they want the belts;foreshadowing next year's Wrestlemania.

Ok what I think should be different is

1. Take the midgets out of the Bundy/Hillbilly Jim match. Have Bundy team
with Kamala and Hillbilly with George Steele. That would be a wild gimmick
match

2. Have Paul Orndorff wrestle someone. Maybe have him fight Bill Jack Haynes
instead of Hercules. Let Ordorff win and show that least he was a second or
third top heel at the time

Everything else about the event is great. Just needed a spot for Ordorff and Kamala

i think the reason the harts and bulldogs were in a 6 man tag was because dynamites back was ruined at the time. it was a miralce he was still able to work (and even then he shouldn't have been doing anything at all). so i think they made it a 6 man tag to take the strain off him a little
